Account Deletion
This page explains how to delete your RemindQue account, what happens to your data, the 30-day recovery window, retained records, and subscription cancellation requirements.

How to delete your account from the app
- Open RemindQue and sign in.
- Go to Settings > Account > Delete my account.
- Select a deletion reason.
- Review the 30-day recovery window information.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- Your account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion.

Request deletion by email
- If you cannot access the app, email support@remindque.com from the email address associated with your RemindQue account.
- Use the subject line "Delete my RemindQue account".
- We will verify your identity before processing the request.
- Processing time is within 30 days of verification.

What happens when you delete your account
- Your profile is deactivated immediately and is no longer visible as an active account.
- Your obligations, family members, vehicles, AI chat history, and other personal data are removed from active systems.
- Family member references in shared contexts are replaced with "Deleted member."

Recovery window
- You have 30 days to recover your account by signing back in.
- After 30 days, all personal data is permanently and irreversibly purged.
- A recovered account restores your data to the state it was in at the time of deletion.

What may be retained
- Aggregated, non-identifying analytics data that does not identify you.
- Records required by law for tax, financial, or legal compliance for the legally required period.
- Fraud prevention or security records for a limited period, if applicable.

Important subscription notice
- iPhone or iPad: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > RemindQue > Cancel.
- Android: Google Play > Menu > Subscriptions > RemindQue > Cancel.
